TINY LATINA BRINGS THE HEAT

Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Midget Wrestling Warriors superstar Valentina watched intently as the stars of professional wrestling put on awe-inspiring matches on television week after week.

Two high-flying combatants of the squared-circle would become her biggest influences and would inspire her to become a professional wrestler, herself.  Those two men were Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio Jr.  She idolized her fellow tiny Hispanics and she wanted to follow in their footsteps and entertain fans around the world.  At 4'11", she had her work cut out for her but she was determined to make her mark in the pro wrestling world.

Fast forward several years and Valentina was ready to make her dream a reality.  She packed her bags, left Albuquerque and headed north to Davenport, Iowa where she attended Black x Brave Wrestling Academy.  It was here that she was trained by Marek Brave and another man you may have heard of...former WWE Champion Seth Rollins.  She would go on to be the only female to graduate from her class when her training was complete in 2017.

It wasn't long after she graduated from the wrestling academy that she garnered a WWE Tryout on SmackDown!  She wrestled a local talent in a dark match and, even though she did not get a spot in WWE at that time, she received lots of valuable feedback from WWE.  They gave her feedback on her ring-gear, which she admitted needed some sprucing up, and their advice also helped her to find herself as a wrestler.  This is made even more impressive by the fact that her WWE tryout came after only six months of performing in a wrestling ring!

No Way, Jose!

WWE liked what they saw enough to invite Valentina back to appear on their television programming as one of the members of No Way Jose's conga line.  Valentina really enjoyed the experience which gave her television exposure and also opened the door to opportunities with other wrestling companies.

Valentina would also appear as an extra in MLW with La Parka, allowing her to represent her Hispanic roots with the legendary Lucha Libre star.

She was also invited to the great white north of Canada to appear on Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling as an extra on their big Slamiversary Pay Per View in Toronto, Ontario.

Valentina loves playing a Babyface and being an influence to other girls who come to watch her wrestle.  She was inspired by Bret Hart picking a child during each entrance and giving them his sunglasses and by Rey Mysterio who would stop on his way to the ring and have a chat with a child, so she picks a small child that's really excited and cheering loudly and she let's them wear her "Good Vibes" hat during the match and the lucky child is always super pumped to have been picked to be the one to wear Valentina's hat while they cheer her on in the ring.

Although she's been wrestling since 2017, Valentina says she's only been wrestling consistently for three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic limiting her to only a couple of matches in 2020.  In her short time wrestling, she's already fulfilled one of her dreams by wrestling in Canada and she thinks that wrestling in Mexico someday would be fun.

What you see in the ring is, for all intents and purposes, the real Valentina...she simply turns her personality up to 150 or 200% to give the fans the best show possible.  She loves to entertain and gives her all every match no matter how many people are in the seats.  She's thrilled to be back wrestling now that the pandemic rules have been loosening and allowing for wrestling shows to take place.

Outside of the ring, Valentina used to work a 9-5 job in retail and customer service but she decided this year to leave those things behind and concentrate on her wrestling career.   She has been wrestling 1-2 times per week and supplements her income by doing Door Dash, as well as freelance work as a Graphic Designer.  She says "I'm not homeless yet so I think I made the right decision."

2021 has seen Valentina debut for the Midget Wrestling Warriors and she's been involved in some heavy-hitting, action-packed matches with the likes of fellow Midget Wrestling Warriors Zoey Skye and Danika Della Rouge.  Could a run as Midget Wrestling Warriors Women's Champion be in the cards for 2022?  With her determination and skillset, we wouldn't be surprised to see Valentina wearing the coveted title around her waist when the Midget Wrestling Warriors "Evolution" Tour invades cities around the globe in 2022!
